Refugees’ session on “Introduction to Social Culture of Britain”. May 2017

As part of its initiative for the refugees, “Introduction to Social Culture of Britain”, the Foundation held a session for young refugees at Croydon Centre.

Over 30 young refugees, aged 15-19 participated at the project. Two sessions were held, one on Law and equality before the law given by a lawyer and one session on National Health Service and mental health issues given by two NHS psychologists.

Refreshments were provided by the foundation.

The talks were followed by extensive Q & A sessions when the participants spoke about their experiences in confidence and asked questions.

The foundation has been asked to arrange another meeting at the centre on Women’s equality and further session on the Law.

The cooperation with the Croydon Centre is ongoing.
