Participation in Academic Interfaith Encounters

As part of its general interfaith programmes, the Foundation participates in a variety of debates, discussions, advisory boards and consultancies on Jewish-Muslim Relations both nationally and locally. These interfaith engagements often take place as part of academic debates and discussions.

Mehri Niknam, representing the Foundation was invited to be the Jewish speaker at a panel-discussion at a conference organised by the Goodenough College in November '06. In her paper, she gave an analysis of the socio-economic patterns of the Jewish and Muslim immigrant communities in Britain in the 19th and 20th centuries.

In December '06, she was informed that her paper had been chosen to be included in a publication by the Goodenough College in 2007.
